We're glad to share that the clinic now runs from a second location. Starting this month, you can also see us at the John Howard Society Building, 294 Main Street, on Fredericton's north side.
For a while now, our only home has been the Wilmot United Church at 473 King Street downtown. That site continues exactly as before. Adding the north-side location simply means people on that side of the river have a closer place to turn for free advice.
Both clinics run the same way: free, no appointment, first come, first served. A UNB law student meets with you and, with a supervising volunteer lawyer, helps you understand your rights and your next step.
If you're deciding which site to visit, pick whichever is easier for you to reach near opening time. Spots at each location are limited, so arriving early gives you the best chance of being seen.
